Berrara, about 2.5 hrs from Sydney and 8km south of Sussex Inlet, has beautiful beaches which are great for surfing. Try some beach or rock fishing or take to the ocean - there's a boat ramp at the western end of the township. Adjacent to Conjola National Park, Berrara is only minutes to Swan Lake, a superb, safe, aquatic playground, where you can paddle a canoe, go sailboarding or water skiing.
Berrara Beach is not a patrolled beach.
